I spend a lot of time at the beach. It’s hard not to, when you live in Australia, considering the fact that there are beaches all around us. I live right near the beach, so even in winter you can find me walking along the sand, or sitting on a seat on the boardwalk to work. It’s so much better than sitting at a table in my house. Sometimes, I go for a swim, but most of the time I prefer sitting back and watching the world go by. It’s so relaxing that it’s almost unbeatable as a leisure activity. However, I’ve recently been starting to think about the effects of spending so much time on the sand. I believe I will need to find one of the best foot specialist clinics Cheltenham offers and go and talk to them about my feet. I’m only concerned because sand is very moveable; it’s easy to sink into. Kind of like a less intense version of quicksand, I guess. I’m not sure what that could do to your feet (or if it could even do anything at all), but I feel as though it must be detrimental in some way. I mean, walking on sand more often than you walk on grass or regular concrete? That can’t be good for you, surely. It’s definitely helping my leg muscles, as I often get compliments on my calves. But my feet have been pretty sore recently, and I suspect it’s because of the sand. I’ve been searching online for some remedies, and I’m going to buy a pair of orthoheel sandals later today. They’re one of the most affordable options I’ve found. I’m hoping that they work well, because if they manage to fix my feet problems, then I won’t ever have to actually visit the podiatrist. The best part about these sandals is that they work on sand, too! I can’t wait to give them a try when I go for my daily sand walk.
