No Longer Invited

My friend is so entitled and annoying. We went camping over the summer holidays which was so fun and genuinely awesome and yet the whole time she was complaining about something. At first, it was the early wake-up, then the long drive, then the long walk to the toilets from the campsite and so on and so forth. Every day she had something new to complain about which absolutely did my head in.

Thank goodness I got a diesel repair local to Raceview before I left or she would’ve found something to complain about relating to my car also. In fact, my car was the only thing she didn’t complain about the whole time. I’d say it was a breath of fresh air but she was complaining about so many other things that I barely noticed.

No matter what my friends and I decide to do for New Year’s Eve next year, we’re not including her. Even if we fly somewhere as she begged us to, she’s not invited. When you bring that many bad vibes to a holiday then you can’t expect to be invited back the year after.

I’ll tell you who will get invited back though? The mechanic who issued my car safety certificate in the Raceview area last month. He did such a good job that the queen of complaining couldn’t even find something to fault. That’s saying something. She even managed to say that the best vineyard in Australia wasn’t green enough. She’s crazy.

Anyway, I don’t plan on wasting any more of my time thinking about my friend, or potentially ex-friend. She’s not my problem anymore. I’m more than happy for her to spread her bad vibes elsewhere and pick holes in holidays that don’t even exist. My friendship group and I are better off without her. Goodbye and good riddance Candice, it’s been real! (No it hasn’t).
