It’s Christmas time, and you know what that means? Christmas decorations! There’s nothing I love more than seeing people deck out their houses and businesses for the holiday season. I adore travelling around my area to see if I can spot someone who’s made an effort to decorate their front garden or walls. Watching the lights is so beautiful, and the smell of fresh pine Christmas trees is enough to put me in a joyous mood all month long.
This year, I’m hiring a frosted window tinting service to come and decorate the windows at my store. I own a bakery, and I love bringing a little bit of joy and magic to my customers. In the lead-up to Christmas, I began baking and stocking a number of products we don’t usually sell during the rest of the year. This includes things like mince pies, little mini Christmas puddings and delicious walnut logs dusted with white icing sugar. They’re my favourite things to bake. I also hang paper garlands up all over the store and put a small tree in the corner. However, I’m not able to use a full-sized tree, or a real one, due to workplace safety requirements related to the food industry.
Anyway, I’m really excited for my window decorations to be completed. The people I’ve hired belong to the best glass frosting company Melbourne has to offer, and they’ve already spoken to me about my ideas for the shop windows. I don’t want to give too much away, but what I can say is that it’s going to be a work of art. Along with tinting and frosting the windows, they’ll also be sketching a few Christmas-related objects with a special glass paint that stays on even during rainy weather. I’m very excited. I can’t wait to bring people past my store and show them the decorations. They might even come in to make a purchase!
